Gerard Willemse
Chief Executive Officer
Gerard Willemse brings to Syfact over 27 years of experience as the chief executive of highly successful, entrepreneurial technology firms. Through his vision and leadership, Syfact had become a pioneer in its field, identifying new business needs that were rapidly evolving in the banking and financial services industries, and creating high-end IT-based solutions where none had previously existed. As Syfact’s founder, chief executive officer, and majority shareholder, Gerard has led the company to become a recognized GRC solution leader in the area of financial crime prevention and investigation, and continues to define the company’s vision and strategy. Gerard is also the founder, chief executive officer, board chairman, and majority shareholder of Inter Access B.V., an 1100-employee firm which has become one of the largest and most successful independent IT service providers in The Netherlands. In addition, Gerard is the executive chairman of Dutch Docklands International B.V.
Gerard Willemse attended VU University Amsterdam, and majored in Economics.

Kees van der Luijt, RA
Chief Financial Officer
With over 20 years of financial management experience, Kees van der Luijt guides the financial development of Syfact as the company grows and its corporate strategies evolve. Kees is highly experienced with rapidly-growing IT firms and also serves as the chief financial officer of Inter Access B.V., one of the largest and most successful independent IT service providers in The Netherlands. Kees previously served as the chief financial officer of the IT firm TAS Goep, N.V., where he directed the company’s IPO, listing it on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange in the late 1990s. Kees had also served as the financial director of Biesheuvel Groep, B.V., and as a senior accountant manager with Ernst & Young.
Kees van der Luijt holds a HEAO in Accountancy from Windesheim and a Post Graduate degree in Accountancy (RA/CPA) from VU University Amsterdam.

Robert Conrad
Executive Vice President and General Manager
North America
With over 17 years of leadership experience in high-growth, global technology firms, Robert Conrad leads the continued success and expansion of Syfact’s North American operations. Prior to his joining Syfact in 2006, Robert served as the vice president of global sales for Permessa Corporation, building a worldwide sales organization and creating strategic partnerships with global technology leaders such as IBM and Computer Sciences Corporation. Under his leadership during this ten-year period, Permessa achieved record revenue levels and was named to the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 in 1999, 2000, and 2002, as well as the Deloitte & Touche new England Fast 50. Robert's earlier career included various positions in sales management, project management, and engineering.
Robert Conrad holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Finance from Babson College.

Jonathan Clarke
Executive Vice President and General Manager
EMEA
With an extensive background in banking operations and enterprise systems, Jonathan Clarke has provided technology-based solutions to financial services organizations for the past 20 years. As Syfact’s executive vice president and general manager for EMEA, Jonathan leads the company’s operations and continued growth in the region. Also under Jonathan’s direction is product management, development, and support. Jonathan joined Syfact from S1 Corporation, where as its business development director, he was responsible for retail financial services product strategy, focusing on alliances and business development within international business units. Prior to joining S1, Jonathan served as the director of financial services solutions for Point Information Systems, where he had established the company’s financial services vertical business unit. Earlier in his career, Jonathan had held a number of marketing, sales, and consultant roles at IBM.
Jonathan Clarke holds a BA in Political Science and Languages from Loughborough University.

Brian Hairston
Vice President, Business Development
Brian Hairston comes to Syfact with over 25 years of experience in the computer industry, with particular focus and expertise in alliance and channel development, and a proven track record in revenue generation through the implementation of sales, marketing and business development strategies with partners and channel organizations. Brian joined Syfact from Hewlett Packard where as its global alliance manager, he expanded the inclusion of third-party products in the solution sales of HP hardware and software. He has held similar positions with organizations such as NetIQ, Aelita Software, and Quest Software. As vice president of business development for Lane15 Software, he was able to expand the range of relationships in both joint development and sales for the InfiniBand marketplace.
Brian Hairston holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.

Marco Dubbeld
Director, Product Development
Joining Syfact in 2006, Marco Dubbeld brings over ten years of technical experience and entrepreneurial leadership. As Syfact’s director of product development, Marco leads the development of the company’s products, building cutting-edge solutions for today, and ensuring continued industry leadership for the future. Prior to Syfact, Marco was the founder and president of his own consulting firm, employing ten Java developers and working on mission-critical systems with clients such as Philips and the Dutch government. Earlier in his career, Marco built three start-up companies, serving as chief technical officer of each, including one of the first companies to offer VoIP (voice over IP) solutions in Europe. Marco previously served as a pre-sales and post-sales system engineer for Nortel Networks.
Marco Dubbeld holds a BS in Telecommunications from INHOLLAND University of Applied Sciences.

Allen Bloomfeld
Director, Global Marketing
With over 20 years of experience, Allen Bloomfeld has provided high-growth technology firms with expertise and leadership in marketing, sales, and corporate communications. Today, Allen leads Syfact’s global marketing initiatives, including public relations, analyst relations, inside sales, and corporate communications. Prior to joining Syfact, Allen served as the vice president of marketing communications for a national IT solution provider, establishing a corporate marketing and communications unit within the organization. Earlier in his career, Allen was the vice president of a start-up healthcare software company, leading its marketing efforts and playing a key role in the company’s rapid ascent to industry leadership in the US. Allen began his career as an account executive for a global telecommunications company.
Allen Bloomfeld holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
